We’ll use a holistic and integrative approach that will help you get a deeper understanding of your anxiety and learn to live in the present.

We will take a look at what you are currently struggling with, as well as begin to understand the deeper patterns and beliefs your anxiety has been holding. We’ll unpack the beliefs you hold about productivity and rest that may have led to you constantly being on overdrive. We’ll work to reset your nervous system, reconnect with your inner strengths and cultivate a deeper sense of ease in your life.

We’ll do more than just learn to cope with anxiety, we’ll make peace with it.

Oftentimes our urge when faced with feelings of anxiety, is to get rid of it. The thing is, anxiety is an important feeling and getting rid of it entirely doesn’t work and may actually be counterproductive.

We will learn skills to support nervous system regulation and how to stop anxiety from taking over. We will learn how to befriend your anxiety and work to release any trauma or burdens from the past that have caused your anxiety to be on overdrive.

By understanding your anxiety. we can change your relationship with it. We will learn to hear the message of anxiety and the ways it can support you. We can help anxiety to rebalance and work with you rather than overwhelm you.

  • Anxiety can show up in lots of different ways and vary person to person. It can show up as persistent fear or worry, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, or tension. It can also turn into behaviors like overthinking, people pleasing, or perfectionism.

  • I use a variety of methods that include Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Brainspotting. We’ll work together to understand your experience of anxiety and decide which approaches are the best fit for you.

  • Anxiety serves an important function in our systems. Rather than getting rid of it we will learn to hear the message of our anxiety, while lessening the control it has over our lives.
