Most clients find online therapy to be just as effective as in-person therapy. It has the added benefit of being able to do it from the comfort of your own home. You will receive a HIPAA compliant video link for your session.

I offer weekly, in-person sessions in a beautiful office space in Santa Monica, CA.
-
For in-person sessions in Santa Monica, CA I am often accompanied by my therapy dog Tallulah. Tallulah is a 7 year old yellow Labrador retriever and is a Canine Companions Certified Therapy Dog. She is gentle, well-trained, and offers a healing presence. You can choose to interact with her as much or as little as you like. Not dog person? No problem, just let me know and we can either schedule Telehealth or find a time when she is not in the office with me.

$300 for 50 minute sessions.
$450 for 80 minute sessions. Longer sessions can be helpful for those seeking IFS and/or EMDR Therapy.
-
During our 50-minute intake appointment, I will discuss a little more about my approach to therapy and set expectations so that you know what to expect next. We will review intake paperwork and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process, then we will use the remainder of the session gathering history about you and setting goals with our work together. By the end of the first session, we will have a more clear idea and understanding of what you want to work on and how we will proceed moving forward

Great question! Length of therapy varies from client to client and depends on their unique needs and circumstances. Most clients I work with benefit from weekly sessions for a minimum of 3 months, and some clients prefer to continue to work together on a long term basis. For established clients, I am open to scheduling maintenance or “booster” sessions per the client’s desire or needs.

Per the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
