Sometimes the bravest step we can take is going inward.

Maybe you’ve been longing to be seen and understood on a deeper level. Or perhaps, you want to feel a more spiritual connection and harmony in your life. Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) can help create inner and outer connectedness by accessing our internal strengths and healing old wounds and protective responses. IFS can help you make sense of your inner world and outer behaviors and bring a sense of peace to your life and relationships.

IFS, developed by Richard C. Schwartz, is a an evidence-based, non-pathologizing therapy that can help you step into your most authentic self. IFS theorizes that we are all made up of a system of parts, and that these parts are working to help us, but sometimes get off course. When our parts are wounded, they often learn to take on more extreme roles or behaviors as a form of self-protection. There are no bad parts, they just require a deeper connection and understanding from us, so that they can release their burdens and return to their true nature. IFS accesses our innate ability to heal through Self- which exists in all of us and is made up of qualities including: calm, compassion, curiosity, and connectedness. IFS can help up heal these parts to that we may live a more balanced life and engage in the world with greater compassion.

IFS therapy can help you get to know yourself better and live more harmoniously.

IFS helps you connect with your internal system in a way that allows you to live from a place of courage, compassion, and curiosity.

  • We will start by getting to know and befriend your internal system and understanding the needs and motivations of your parts. We will connect with qualities of self-energy, such as compassion and curiosity to support parts in getting the healing they deserve.

  • With IFS therapy, we will practice slowing down and bringing curiousity to your internal experience. You will spend time getting to know and understand different parts of yourself. You will learn to trust your intuition and find greater self-acceptance.

  • Once we work with our system of parts and help them move towards healing, they naturally transform. This transformation can lead to increased clarity and confidence in your life, harmony in your relationships and deeper sense of connection.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

It’s possible to experience lasting inner peace and a deeper connection with yourself and others.
